April 2018 Lineup: Animated April Makes a 'Fantastic' Return

This April, we get animated once more with Animated April 2. Hosts Serg Beret and Patrick Raissi explore four more animated favorites, a returning guest to the show and different animated styles to show how varied the art form can be. From traditional hand drawn, both from the East and West, to stop-motion and rotoscope, this month is sure to be a hit with those in love with the medium.

EP. 77: CRITERION OF THE MONTH - "FANTASTIC MR. FOX"

Starting off with Criterion of the Month, Serg and Patrick are joined once again by Daniel White (EP. 53: "Phantasm") to cover Wes Anderson's "Fantastic Mr. Fox." Listen as they discuss the film with Daniel's insight into stop-motion, as well as his own art background, and how Anderson's direction translates into the strange world of Roald Dahl. (April 6)
